I don't even know what Lee Bright is upset about. The bathrooms in his district have been gender neutral for years.

In Grady Gallant's book about Guadalcanal in WW2, he has a bit about making latrines for the Marines. The enlisted men got an open trench, the NCOs got flimsy structures with half-doors, leaving their legs and bodies above the shoulders exposed, and the officers got outhouses with full doors so they could excrete in privacy. Not quite as funny as your pic, but a rather stark commentary nevertheless.

Radio and TV reporters around here call it 'Wash-dot' now but if i recall corectly they used to call it 'Weez-dot' which appropriately to this entire thread sounds an awful lot like 'Wiz-dot'

Being a fan of the 'U of Dub' (UW) Huskies, I miss the days when their arch nemisis from across the mountains WSU proudly used the nickname 'Wazzu' Cougars.
