Trump Campaign: When The Donald asked "How's Joe Paterno?" he was referring to the STATUE

"How's Joe Paterno?" Trump asked supporters. "Are we gonna bring that back? Right? ... How about that whole deal?"

A campaign spokeswoman later confirmed that the GOP presidential front-runner wasn't talking about Paterno himself but about his statue, which was removed from outside the football stadium four years ago, angering students and many alumni.

The statue was taken down after a university-commissioned report accused the late coach and three administrators of concealing sex abuse claims against Sandusky, a claim Paterno's family denies.

In February, two artists involved in producing the Paterno statue said they're working on two new statues of the coach in a secret location.

Good god this General Election is going to be fun.

A Party nominee that half the party either won't vote for or hates outright, a Congressional Establishment so potentially terrified of being associated with aforementioned nominee that they will write off half their own base for the sake of attracting nonexistant 'moderates' in an idiotic attempt to keep hold of their own power to enrich themselves at the expense of the Public Good, Environmental Sanity and The Commons, and an electorate so damned riled (some rightly so, others not) that at least one Convention runs the risk of initiating a Third Party nominee if they screw up and drop the Ball.

And all of this exists separate from what the utterly useless 'journalists' will narrate for us, at the Command of their Owners.

where the rally was basically taking place at The University of Pittsburgh. Pitt students and alumni are not particularly fond of Penn State or Joe Paterno, dead or alive.
