I Vote the Neil Tysons for President

"For humanity to survive and thrive, it is essential to solve problems – and that can only be done by accepting and understanding the specific problem in the first place. Time and time again, when we analyse the lack of intelligent informed debate, we always end up bewildered by the lack of critical thinking. This is a concept that we used to able to take for granted -yet now we find ourselves treasuring it, lusting for it. When a stupidparty leader actually says something intelligent we are awestruck -but when was the last time that happened? Perhaps when McCain stood up to the bigoted town hall lady in 2008, or when Kasich said Stupidparty pledges to scrap Obamacare were just silly, or even when Trump observed that Jeb Bush was totally in the tank of his contributors. But even in these cases, one or two examples do not represent a pattern. Karl Gary now investigates and pays homage to the whole concept of critical thinking."

At least spell his name correctly if you want him to be POTUS.

I love NdGT!! But he better serves us all by hurling bombs from the sidelines and bringing us all awesome science like the Cosmos Reboot. I don't want to see him in any Oval Office unless it is to receive some award for science education, or maybe just for a selfie with the President.

As a matter of fact, he's already done that.

With Bill Nye, no less.

Wouldn't it be nice to have an actual SCIENTIST sitting on oh, I don't know, THE SCIENCE COMMITTE?? (yeah, I know, there isn't such a thing as far as I know. I rest my case.)

You might explain that.

Your OP seems vacant of facts. No offense intended.

BTW, commitee has two E's.

Best regards.

who thinks the universe is just a computer simulation?

Moderator Neil deGrasse Tyson, director of the museum’s Hayden Planetarium, put the odds at 50-50 that our entire existence is a program on someone else’s hard drive. “I think the likelihood may be very high,” he said.

What a crackpot...
