Drunken Driver Republican Arrested with 4 Kids in the Car and Gun on his hip

http://www.rawstory.com/2016/04/georgia-republican-busted-for-drunken-driving-with-four-kids-in-his-car-and-a-gun-on-his-hip/
snip:
Georgia Republican faces a new challenge in his re-election campaign after his arrest on drunken driving charges.
State Rep. Tom Taylor (R-Dunwoody) was stopped April 7 for driving 72 mph in a 45-mph zone with four children in his vehicle, reported the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The 54-year-old Taylor had a blood-alcohol content of .225, which is nearly three times higher than the legal limit of .08, and was legally carrying a gun on his hip at the time of his arrest.

Nothing to see here. Standard rethug misbehavior. He will ask for personal forgiveness and say you are intolerant if you don't forgive him.

1. A drunk with a gun. Zero potential for trouble here.

Thank the NRA for successfully bribing enough politicians and the legislating from the Bench SCOTUS Judges who upheld Heller. Otherwise this drunken fool might not have been able to have his personal protection with him.

3. Did he try the "do you know who I am?" Maybe threatened the cops job or at least hinted at that?

I would be surprised if he didn't. Better admit to a problem and check yourself into rehab. Oh, and don't forget to find JAYUSUS! He may already have had to use that one though.

Being that drunk, even if he had a cop that might have liked to have let him go, he didn't have much of a chance. These days, you have another cop show up immediately if not even more than that. That's by design, to prevent just the kind of bribery or influence that used to get a lot of them out of it. Even if the guy was your state Rep. and you love him, no way you can let a guy that shitfaced go.

Even when I routinely drove drunk in the early 80's, I was never that stupid. I never drove after drinking with kids in the car, not even once. "W" got a DUI with a kid in the car didn't he? Complete idiot for driving that fast as well. There are a lot of people that might drive after having a couple too many that are more careful than usual. It's idiots like that guy that made them lower the allowed blood alcohol to .08%. I still feel the old limit was actually more fair, but they had to lower it just for the deterrent affect.

You can't get behind the wheel of a car when you blow .225, but you can be strapped. I hope the gun will be okay.

Where you could buy a pack of smokes, a bottle of wild turkey, and a fun-size box of ammo.

Good times.
