Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin mocked Bill Nye on Thursday, using the premier of a film that criticizes climate change scientists to call into question Nye's credentials.

"Bill Nye is as much a scientist as I am," the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said, according to The Hill. "He's a kids' show actor, he's not a scientist."
Palin, who was speaking at the Washington premiere of the anti-climate change film "Climate Hustle," targeted Nye during a rant against the "alarmism" of climate change activists.
Scientists who study climate have an overwhelmingly consensus that the Earth is warming and humans are the cause, according to multiple peer-reviewed scientific journals.
Palin urged parents to teach their children to "ask those questions and not just believe what Bill Nye the Science Guy is trying to tell them" about climate change.

even before he put Churchy Spice on the ticket. He had gone full-on GWB despite what they did to him in 2000. That alone made me think he was not worthy of my attention aside from the fact that his politics were completely asinine in every way.

That said, he was still someone who at least deserved the respect of having to sit in that pit of hell in Vietnam as a PoW for so long. I know I wouldn't have made it through that, and he did. Regardless of his own beliefs and his turn towards Dubya in 2008, his legacy still deserved to start with his service to our country.

But then he added this no-brain, no-class and no-talent asshole to his ticket. He unleashed the Kraken of Idiocy not only onto that election, but onto our culture. It's a shitstain that still hasn't quite been washed away, as this turd still pops up from time to time.

The point is, THIS is what needs to be written first in his obituary. Not his time as a Senator, not his time as a PoW and not his time as a candidate for POTUS. His obituary and legacy should both start with, "Gave the USA Sarah Palin, the Human Herpes."
