More racist behavior by an American Airline. Need a Justice Department Investigation?

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/17/us/southwest-muslim-passenger-removed/index.html

Arabic-speaking student kicked off Southwest flight

(CNN)One day, Khairuldeen Makhzoomi was proudly asking the U.N. secretary-general a question. The next, he was booted from a Southwest flight and questioned by the FBI.
...
It all started, according to Makhzoomi, after he decided to call his uncle in Baghdad after getting on the plane. While he waited for takeoff on his flight from Los Angeles to Oakland, California, they chatted in Arabic about an event he'd been excited to attend the day before: a dinner with U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

"I just called him and talked to him about it and everything, and he told me (to) call him when I get to Oakland, and I said, 'insha'Allah insha'Allah (God willing), I will call you when I arrive.' And during the conversation a lady was staring at me," Makhzoomi said.
...
"One guy came with police officers within two minutes -- I can't believe how fast they were -- and told me to get off the plane," he said.

All anyone has to say about a perceived Muslim they don't like is that they don't like them, all of a sudden everyone is "uncomfortable", and that enable the racists airline to hurt people and walk away.

They need to start being unable to fly. Maybe a few hundred extra people in their security lines, to ask questions. Start costing them millions.

That's the ONLY thing they care about.

If you talk about terrorism or ISIS on a commercial flight in English, there's a chance you'll be kicked off.

The New York Times article says that an Arabic speaking airline employee accused him of using language "often associated with jihadists". In the Times article he also says that he was talking about the Islamic State during the phone conversation.

This could be real bias or it could be another case of an activist testing the system.

He asked the fucking attorney general at the U.N. a question, and was telling his uncle. That was the context - no more threatening than what you just said.

Except all the cowardly racist assholes around want to make more of it.

I see it differently, but then I grew up with Democratic Terrorists in Oklahoma. Solid Democrats, would and did shoot at people who displayed a Republican sign. Their parents and grandparents were saved by FDR and the New Deal, and would never have been anything else.

In 1971 they gathered at the high school and terrorized black kids, turned over their school buses, incited their kids to attack and hurt them. Only stopped when the police attacked and the fire department drove their trucks into them.

No difference between them and ISIS, as far as I am concerned.

On the other hand, except for a few extremists, I have known scores of muslims - not one has ever done anything nearly so bad as those ass clowns I grew up with - some of whom are still around.

This kid isn't nearly the threat to this country that many non-muslims are.

That has long been the case no matter what language you are speaking.

You can talk about bombs or terrorism on a commercial plane if you want, but you might have to fight for your free speech rights after being removed from the plane.

beyond hearing some variant of "As-salāmu ʿalaykum, a Muslim greeting in Arabic that means "Peace be upon you" but had no idea what it meant.

Even the airport conversations indicate no one ever said he said anything untoward - only spoke "Arabic". That is now reason for suspicion, and if you move wrong they shoot you dead? For not speaking English? On a US common carrier. United States of North Carolina.

Has the real estate swindler already been crowned King?

Peace be upon you.

Fucking scary.

terror and turmoil all over the world, if you're speaking Arabic, you have the responsibility to choose those times and places accordingly.

Justice department? Yeah, right.

Get on a commercial plane, get on your phone, and start talking about bombs or the Islamic State. See how the rest of the passengers react.
