hopefully, understanding of how hard it is to actually maintain an organized party on a regular basis, and not just during the 'sexy' presidential cycles.

Unless LP is a State Party Chair or Vice Chair would not normally be an automatic delegate.

We elected three SDEC members in 2012 to go to North Carolina for the National Convention. They each had to be elected at the caucus like other national delegates. The chair and vice chair are delegates and there are separate elections for DNC members.

It takes a ton of work to be on the SDEC. Congratulations

from the Third Way and back toward what is genuinely good for the American people - New Deal policies. Bernie's platform would be A REALLY GOOD PLACE from which to begin.

It has always been a great experience working with people who love politics and love this country. I had the honor of working with the State Democratic Party in Texas when I lived there. We had such a diverse and vocal group. Hopefully we built something that will grow in that state. Everyone should be involved, no matter who they support, and thank you for serving and giving your time.

Here are all the trite things that really turn out to be true.

Don't lose the focus on the people. Remember why you're there. Do the most good you can. Enjoy yourself.

I hope you succeed.
