When you think about it Lin-Manuel Miranda probably saved the Hamilton $10 bill

It was probably about 6 months or so ago that the Treasury departed stated that it would be the $10 Alexander Hamilton bill that would be replaced with a woman. I think that shocked many of us because the overall opinion was that the $20 Andrew Jackson bill should be replaced since Andrew Jackson was a bit of a controversy to start. Alexander Hamilton has become popular with the country because of the hit Broadway musical 'Hamilton' which is probably why it was opted to keep Hamilton on the $10 and go with removing Jackson from the $20.

Probably, nothing. That's exactly why it'll be Jackson and not Hamilton who goes. Brickbat Apr 2016 #2

Of course, this process is going to take years, so I'll believe it when I get a Tubman bill from the ATM and a store accepts it for cash money.
