Heir hunters are investigating a 'legitimate' claim against Prince's $300million estate by a man who says he's the singer's secret love-child, Daily Mail Online can reveal.
Investigators at Heir Hunters International - which specializes in genealogical research and finding heirs across the globe - have been contacted by the man who appears to have a genuine back story and claim on the singer's vast estate.
The 'love-child', a man in his 30s and from Prince's home state of Minnesota, is believed to be the product of a fling the Purple Rain singer had with an as yet unknown woman in the mid-80s.
This comes as the singer's sister Tyka Nelson filed paperwork Tuesday in a Minneapolis court saying Prince has no known will and requesting to be appointed executor of his estate.

OP
No one has come forward with a will yet, and there is plenty of time to do that

I hope someone got a sample of Prince's DNA before he was cremated.

(60,336 posts)1. The Prince heirs will be coming out of the woodwork now
Why wouldn't you have a will with that kind of money?

The thing that is important at this stage is to get Prince's assets and going concerns into the hands of a capable trustee administrator, until the dust settles on various claims that are going to be made, and to make sure that the assets and businesses are appropriately managed.
The current proceeding is intended to that, and is premised on his sister's statement that no will has been found nor does she believe one exists. That may be so. However, if he had entrusted custody of a will to someone else, that person will come forward in due time.

After a friend's mother died they had some homeless crackhead dude come out of the woodwork, squat in her house and claim they had been married. If you think that is an easy issue to resolve, you would be wrong.
She rescinded her will when she divorced, but never actually got around to writing a new one.

It could solve a lot of paternity questions.

Plus his castle should be swimming in his DNA.
