Here's A (Partial) Solution To Citizens United For Ya....
The Roberts SCOTUS ruled that it's 'Constitutional' for plutocrats to dump unlimited amounts of dark money into election.
Okay, so we can't stop this, but we can at least use it to make the system fairer.
IMPOSE A TAX of 50% on all campaign donations over $1000 from individuals or PACS, and put that money into a fund to hire election workers, buy optical scanners which read paper ballots (to replace f-ing crooked Diebold election-stealing machines), and open up more poling places. (Including using USPS post offices as election polls.)
The plutocrats will hate this, because the more money they dump into the election...the easier it will become for people to vote. Something they DON'T want. The Koch's have vowed to dump $800,000,000 of NON-dark money into the 2016 Election. Imagine having $400,000,000 to set up new poling stations, reducing lineups etc. Pretty soon they'll decide it's not worth it, and stop.
This would essentially be like the old FCC ruling from the 1970s on cigarette commercials! The FCC ruled, under the Fairness Doctrine, that the networks had to allow one anti-smoking commercial for every two cigarette commercials put on TV. Suddenly people stopped smoking, and the cigarette companies actually started lobbying Congress to BAN cigarette commercials. Because every time they aired a new cigarette add, the opposition would get to put on a commercial that convinced people to STOP smoking.
The same thing would happen with elections if we were able to do this.
