Found one on me. I'll be spraying Cedarcide around the house. Kills fleas and tics. Doesn't hurt birds, dogs, toads, or us etc.

PCO Choice Organic Pesticide for your Lawn
Spray this concentrated formula in your yard to deter a variety of insects. Just like all of our products, its safe for people and pets.
The sprayer makes it so easy to do. We have been using this for years now.

(36,827 posts)7. One of the best "natural" solutions is just keep your grass mowed
Also keep trees and shrubs pruned off the ground and all organic material like leaf piles cleaned up along with rubbish and other areas where fleas and ticks can live.
I haven't found a single flea or tick on any of my dogs in over 20 years by just doing those things.

We mow, everything is clean and well kept, and we have ticks constantly.

(36,827 posts)9. Then it might be good to figure out where they are living or coming from
If you have a deck or some other type of crawlspace or area where they can get out of the sun that might be your problem. They could also be coming from neighbors' yards. If you feed your pets outdoors this may attract other animals that are bringing them in.
