Women with disabilites refused tow-truck services because of Bernie

"When 25-year-old Cassandra McWade got in a car accident on a highway in Asheville, North Carolina, on Monday, Ken Shupe drove his tow truck to the scene. But when he saw that McWade, who has disabilities, had Bernie Sanders signs on her Toyota Camry, he decided he wouldn’t help.

“He said, ‘I can’t tow you ... you’re a Bernie supporter,’” McWade recalled. “I was like, ‘Wait, are you serious? You’re kidding me.’”

Ken Shupe, a 51-year-old from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, was very serious. “I’m a conservative Christian, I’ve just drawn a line in the sand,” he said. “I’m not going to associate or conduct business with them.” (The incident was first reported by FOX Carolina 21.) "....

Shupe said he initially supported Republican presidential contenders Ben Carson and Mike Huckabee. But now that Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Shupe is going to support him “110 percent,” he said.

I wonder what Christ would have thought of these hateful pricks if he actually was some form of devine being? I imagine images of moneychangers being tossed out of temples only this time it's these assholes being tossed out of churches.

He can't be fired for his behavior, including ascribing it to Christian beliefs, but it is likely to cost him.

Person who looks down on people of a different color, women, the poor, gays, and anyone of a different political persuasion. South Carolinians like this make me ashamed to be a South Carolininian. And there are so damned many of them.

Bravo to you, Ken Shupe for following the tenets of your religion. Jesus would be proud.

Tow truck firm is in Travelers Rest, SC
Accident is in Asheville, NC

these 2 points are 50+ miles apart. In another state.

Why doesn't something feel right here?

If the women had a tow-service (AAA or whatever), they would have to contact a tow company that has an agreement with that service - even if it was 50 miles away.
My car broke down in middle of a fair size city and I had to wait quite a while for an out-of-city tow service that had an agreement with my policy.
