Many in the GOP are willing to fellate Trump in public

The Republican Party politicians hate Donald Trump's guts. They wish he would get hit by a meteorite, or have a stroke. Nonetheless, facing what they believe to be inevitable, they are getting down on their knees and opening their mouths.

Why?

Some think he may win and don't want to be considered his enemy.

Some think he may win and want a job in his administration.

A few think he may win and want to be his Vice President.

There are still some Republicans who refuse to back him, but they are either ex-presidents, ex-candidates for president, or those who are at the end of their careers. (You know, really brave souls.)

IMO, those willing to blow Trump in public are people who would do anything, anything, to survive. They will fuck their country, this planet, and everyone on it for their own survival/interests. They are the Republican Party falling in line. They are the dregs of humanity.

It will be interesting to see if there is still a Republican Party after this election and how it will try to portray itself. But no matter what mask they decide to wear, they are at this very moment showing us who they are. They are people willing to blow Trump in public. And they are people who know the American public has a very short memory and will hope they forget what they did.

2. Christie is just one of the more obvious ones

There are far, far more, exactly like him. Hell, half of them were candidates a few months back.

Jindall, Perry and those of their ilk would go down on the Donald in an instant. These people have no real beliefs, values, or convictions. They, like so many others, are political whores who will do whatever it takes to advance themselves.

What's really more frightening than anything else is that there are people who vote for them.

And most frightening of all, who's to say that Trump can't actually win this election. The two most frightening words in the English language have to be: President Trump.
