The argument that this country needs to be run like a business is maddening

unless of course, you are the CEO.
I just want to ask these people..."where are you in the social order" and what makes you think that Trump will make your life better? For God's sake, he wants to do away with the minimum wage!

I'm a worker. Donald Trump isn't going to give me anything. He is a businessman. All the perks go to the top.
What if you are unemployed? What does that mean? That means...you mean nothing to the Trump World Order.

So running this country as a "business"....one need only do a cursory search for the social structure of the Roman Empire...there would be few differences.
I see the Nobility, the plebians and the slaves as the New World Order in this country if Trump makes it all the way.

And we all know how that ended.

an idiot right winger to attack you.

What I think you mean is Drumpf has no intention of ever doing anything to make a working person's life any better and in fact has in store hell on earth for working people.

Running a country like a business will completely destroy the country, Reagan is the model for that.

Way back before the days of reality TV, there was a guy that tried to run a state government like a business. He ran on that very platform, and he was a Democrat. He had some "celebrity" personality to him. His then-wife was a former Miss America. The guys name was John Y. Brown, and his then-wife was Phyllis George. John Y. was a one term governor in KY and nobody cried when he left. He was a miserable failure. It seems that John Y., as well as lots of Trump followers, do not understand that a business exists to make money, while a government is supposed to be good stewards of the money provided by the public. One is supposed to make money, while the other is supposed to spend money. Big difference.

like a business. A business is run primarily for the good of the shareholders. A government should be run for the good of all the people. There's a vast difference and one most people can easily understand. No government should be run as a business and I think all Dems would agree with that.

I own my car outright so that will be my home sweet home. Where to park it though so I can get a good nights rest, not get murdered or raped, or freeze to death at night. Where, Oh where!
