I watched it earlier and it was nice to watch him grit his teeth and squirm. Every talking point he uttered was smacked down.

(31,011 posts)Tweety and the dem strategist were discussing how Romney and Obama were being given 2 different standards when it comes to their history of job creation. They talked about the impact of health care costs on the economy.
Steele was popping off talking point after talking point.
Finally, they had to post a graph from the Bureau of Labor Statistics to show how Obama has created more jobs and it showed how bush before him had hemorrhaged jobs. They had to bring it up twice.
It was a site to see.

(1,328 posts)I don't know how to say what I'm going to say without sounding offensive but it kills me to see some of these black people spouting the republican lies.
The republican's never did anything to make their life better, it was always the democrats that put their necks on the line to push for equal rights.

(21,925 posts)at one point he said that Obama wasn't able to get anything done in the way of a jobs plan despite having a SUPER MAJORITY in the legislature in his first two years. No one called Steele out on that when all that had to be said was the word FILIBUSTER. I was squirming in my chair when I saw that. I can't believe the Reshits continue to say such things and expect to get away with it.

(2 posts)I actually appreciate it when a conservative is included for "lively debate"
Michael Steele's inclusion, however, never leads to debate. He states his opinion--emphatically--then doesn't allow anyone else to talk. Nothing irritates me more on political talk shows, from Bill Maher to Fox "News", than a guest who constantly interrupts others without allowing them to respond. Mr. Steele takes it further: When he fails at interrupting, he just talks over other people. The noise that results is unintelligible.
He would have got his *** handed to him anyway, but he opted to do it to himself.
