Seriously after hearing all this stuff come out about Mitt would you rather see another person win

nomination? On the slight off chance --Due to Citizens United ruling--Romney does win. Are you more frighten of him now that you know all this stuff or would he still be better than a Santorum, Bachmann, Gingrich, or Cain.

After this I am dragging my husband and my friend to vote this November.

We will be exactly on par with Mexico, economically. (Remember that the richest man in the world is a Mexican.)

Maybe, maybe Huntsman... but I suspect that his lack of wingnuttery might just be a lack of spotlight.

No. Every single person lining the stage for the republican Primary was a frightening, batshit-crazy motherfucker who should not be trusted to wash golf balls at a putt-putt, much less run a fucking country.

He believes that science is valid. Which puts him parsecs beyond the open air lunatic asylum that is the modern repuke party. It's also what killed his chances even before he started.

A sane, breathing mammal who accepts the validity of science? Could be Huntsman. Could be Neil deGrasse Tyson. Could be Larry the Cable Guy, too. "Covering the basics" doesn't really impress me, though.

Though I'll admit. Neil deGrasse Tyson could run under damn near any party label and I'd vote for him in a heartbeat. His brain is so sexy.

Especially since he's hauling out a lot of bush2 retreads - the very same lovely geniuses who got us into A) this economic morass and B) the staggeringly disastrous and costly war in Iraq. He thinks somehow more of the same duhbya economic strategies will somehow magically do an about-face and work this time, and that Russia is our Public Enemy #1.

will get rid of all of the "bush retreads" if he wins a second term. Those and the all o the 1%ers who have put America in this mess. Panetta, Geithner, Bernankey, etc..IMO, it is our only hope.
With our die-bold, etc,. election machines, I wonder if our votes actually count. Hand-counting votes is much, much more reliable. People have no "proprietary secrets.."

at the end of the Bush administration. We needed to talk about what happened to our economy and what we needed to do to fix it. We let the financial people off and now they are going to screw us again with or without Rmoney.

Democrats just absolutely freakin' SUCK at the messaging thing. I don't understand it. I don't get it - why so many of our so-called "leading lights" don't get it. Why they don't pump ALL their energy into the messaging. It's as important as fund-raising because the public perception HAS TO BE guided, shaped, and managed. And it seems like precisely NONE of our people are paying much attention to this aspect of the overall war. Do they just not understand? Are they just so high up in their "but, but, but, the American people will SEE!" ivory towers that they just don't even grasp the other reality that's out there????????????

Is that he's been a pretty divisive figure amongst the right; some love him, and some despise him. While there's no doubt in my mind that a good number of Repubs will hold their noses and vote for him, there are definitely a perhaps somewhat smallish, but noticeable, number of Repubs who have jumped ship, and are either sitting this year out, voting for a third party, or, in a few cases, switching to our side of the fence.
I don't doubt that a few Dems may be tempted to sit out as well but it seems a lot of us have been very charged and revved up this year thanks to various happenings across the country, and in D.C. itself.

It's always possible that an 'October Surprise' type event could happen, though, making it somewhat harder for Obama to win this election.......maybe, for example, Israel finally attacks Iran and oil prices somehow manage to go sky-high.

I submit that they will install Rand Paul as vp, which would succeed in uniting the party. Can't think of a better tool for them to avoid a duel, come Conceal/Carry/Convention time. Can they swing it? How do we counter? It is serious defense time.

The differences between Mittens and Chimpy are that Mittens is a little smarter and somewhat worse at playing "folksy." Those are the only differences. They're both sadistic, psychopathic assholes dedicated to having the nation looted by their pals.
