Ever hear of a bicycle race named the Tour de Trump?
How about the Tour de Rump in Aspen. Co? Trump sponsored the Tour de Trump for 2 years and dropped out because of
his business's financial problems.The sponsorship was taken over by DuPont. When it was the Tour de Trump his lawyers sent out cease and desist letters to a local ride in Aspen called the Tour de Rump. That ride is an annual event to this day.
Trump's personality and celebrity, as well as the scandals surrounding Trump's marriage and business affairs, distracted from the event and annoyed European riders in the race.
