Let me demonstrate by calling on my old Republican memories.

"Exactly. So there's no need to change anything to increase that number. In fact, why are we even talking about this idiocy when there are so many child abuse cases?"

You can't lead with "Nothing bad happened last year!" when you're trying to push for a NEW change and the concern is that it will make bad things happen.

CLARITY EDIT: I'm not taking a side on this issue. I'm ONLY commenting on the efficacy of the cartoon imo.

Every year there's a budget shortfall. Every year people bitch about their taxes being too high. Services cost money people!
