(65,616 posts)You tell me. Why would a nation that is our close ally, suddenly come out and agree with banned DUngeoners? Shit met fan.

(65,616 posts)as far as that goes, they might have hid the bodies so well we never find out the truth or get all the facts.

(3,343 posts)I've searched al-hayat and theres no mention of this article anywhere on their website...
MEMRI is not always reliable (at the best of times) and has been described as "the main arm of Israeli propaganda" which seems plausible as it was funded by Israeli military intelligence figures.

(3,343 posts)Remember that Israel and Saudi Arabia have recently become strategic allies.
Saying that I'd suggest that the article is in fact non-existent as every single link to it leads back to MEMRI and they don't have an actual link to the al-Hayat website just the supposed date it was published.
Why Israeli intelligence would put this out there at essentially the same time that Obama goes to SA is beyond me though really... Who knows. They have a long history or stirring shit though. Just like US intelligence.

(36,988 posts)It seems that many different factions are pointing fingers at each other.
Including the Israelis. Now why are they funding this site?
Could the site be also Saudi funded? Who knows
Like I said you need to filter your news and read between the lines and look at motives and what not being said.
The site is a propaganda site for sure but it does have a following among the Arab world.
Like I said...... what's in the 28 pages.
This story only makes those pages more interesting.

(3,343 posts)Doesn't have a following in SA that I know...?
Al-Hayat does of course but there's also zero evidence that they actually published this article... Other than claims by a website known to be run by Israeli intelligence.
I'd love to know what's in the 28 pages but... Until this article is actually shown to exist I'm sceptical that the supposed contents add much to anything... Except propaganda.

I do expect to hear something from the Saudis on this story , including the 28 soon because its heating up the rats nest

(50,983 posts)With reasonable medical facilities available for the old fuckers of course. We know they did it. I bet they would cave if they only played the Barney the Dinosaur theme for 24 hours. Donald Rumsfeld would tell all. "Just stop that awful music!", He screamed. No water boarding necessary. Dick Cheney would piss his pants when they got out the board, as in water boarding.
