Think Dems should come up with a catchy nickname for Trump.

Our candidates don't have to say it - but maybe all surrogates.

Something that reflects his greatest weaknesses - lack of knowledge, rashness, intellectual laziness. To go with Don, Donny, Trump, Donald ??

7. You vastly underestimate how powerful silly nicknames can be.

Voters have short memories, but an easily remembered nickname sticks with them if repeated often enough. Subconsciously it has an effect if there is even a grain of truth to it.

Since MOST voters already view Hillary as untrustworthy, this one will really reinforce that and prevent Hillary from changing their opinion.

We need a silly nickname for Trump that accomplishes a similar goal.

Silly or not, that's politics.

Hillary has the nomination. The only way for her to lose would be for the superdelegates to go against the will of the people - and I don't believe they would do that as they already support her.

Hillary got the huge inside-field advantage from the beginning because the DNC establishment thought she had the best chance to win.

If she continues to decline in the polls against trump, they may reevaluate this decision, and if the establishment turns against her, she won't have a chance.

Remember, they haven't even voted on what rules to hold the convention under yet. If the establishment doesn't want her, all they'd have to do is reinstate the original '2/3 majority requirement' and tell superdelegates to vote for a 3rd candidate.


Think it's impossible? If her numbers continue to erode, DNC establishment's going to start looking at backup plans. They're not smart, but they're not suicidal.


Besides the C vs T polls, your best indicator for above is going to be her campaign finances. Look for declines in spending and high-value donations by late June, those are going to be your key indicators.
