Police: 'Unknown Substance' In FL Planned Parenthood Makes 6 Ill

A Planned Parenthood office in Sarasota, Florida was evacuated Monday morning after an "unknown substance" in the building "made people ill," police said.

Six people were taken to the hospital for evaluation and all 38 who were in the building will be decontaminated at the scene, Sarasota police said in a statement.

The substance that made people ill is not yet known, police said, and the condition of those exposed to the substance was not immediately available.

Two hazmat teams were at the scene, located at 736 Central Ave.
