Julian Castro at KY Democratic Party Dinner - June 3

We have exciting news! We just learned that Secretary of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Julián Castro, will be the featured speaker at our 2016 Wendell Ford Dinner on June 3rd in Louisville. Secretary Castro is one of the Party's most dynamic young leaders and we know his passion for bringing well-paying jobs and high-quality schools to communities across the country will resonate here in Kentucky. Secretary Castro has also been the subject of national media attention as a potential Vice Presidential candidate. Prior to being named Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Secretary Castro served as Mayor of San Antonio.

Tickets are still available. Click here to secure yours today!

We are also very pleased to announce that former MSNBC personality Krystal Ball will serve as our emcee for the evening. Ms. Ball is regularly featured on television and in print as a Democratic strategist and commentator, and we are elated that she has agreed to join us in Louisville.

You won't want to miss out on this year's Wendell Ford Dinner. Purchase your tickets today, or RSVP to Austin Cohen at acohen@kydemocrat.com or 502-695-4828.

He seemed to be the designated man when Chris Matthews interviewed him a couple weeks ago. Of course he had to dodge Matthews when asked if was interested in being Hillary's VP.
