I first saw it in a movie called "Serving Sara," a mildly funny comedy starring Matthew Perry and Elizabeth Hurley, way back in 2002. It was the line of the movie.

You were helpful. Yes. Neil is fun. I love it when Maher starts to play fight with the person next to him when he knows them really well. Kind of like a 3/4 of the way plot twist in a movie script. He loses control for a bit. His guest and he start insulting each other.
