It does no good to go after the candidate, go after who is backing them.
The backers can get plenty of empty suits to do their bidding as long as the money lasts. In fact the money is so good that many people who put a âDâ after their name are willing to be an open traitor to their country and do the bidding of the rich too.
Take out the backers, by any means necessary, it will make it more and more difficult for Pubs and others to even run.

To do so, would be calling out themselves, and on top of that no more $$$

Privately financed elections are a disaster, but we are so far from considering the alternative.
So attacking the candidates will continue. In Mitt's case, fortunately, it's pretty damned straightforward. But, even so, you saw push back from some Dems on Bain, which tells you a lot right there.

(4,840 posts)We need to thrash Republican funding to the core. Pass laws that take their money away. No contributions from large corporation owners. Period. No campaigning allowed. Period. Everyone goes to one publically funded website to view the candidates and their platforms in any election. No political commercials. No buying advertisement. Period. One website. That's it. Fuck money in politics.
