NJ Democrat takes up fight to remove Confederate flag from Citadel

... U.S. Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has filed an amendment to the pending 2017 National Defense Authorization Act identical to the one that failed in the House version earlier. Both call for withholding all Reserve Officers’ Training Corps funding from any military academy that flies the Confederate flag.

The Citadel in Charleston is currently the only institution that fits this category.

Booker taps into tax resentment for stupidity. It runs strong in NJ. We don't want to see the money leave the state for stupidity. It's stupid for a military academy to fly an enemy flag. Fly American or forget about it.
