I never really thought about this before the massacre but started thinking based on post in another thread. They don't exist.
Well, One man is trying/tried...
Daayiee Abdullah (born Sidney Thompson in 1954 in Detroit, Michigan, United States)[1][2] is an African American, gay Imam in Washington, D.C.[1][3][4][5] Abdullah is said to be one of three openly gay Imams in the world (the others being Muhsin Hendricks of South Africa and Ludovic Mohamed-Zahed of France)[6][7][8][9]

Masjid An-Nur Al-Isslaah[edit]
Abdullah attempted to create an LGBT-friendly masjid in Washington D.C., but it failed because there was much fear over what the community would do to those caught attending.[15] Later, in 2011, he helped create a mosque for anyone who wanted to attend located in a public library in D.C.[16] The plan is to raise funds to create a purpose-built mosque of their own where all are free to worship.[16] Since 2000, Abdullah has provided specialized counseling services for Muslims from a wide spectrum of Muslim religious and cultural backgrounds.[10]
Abdullah is the imam and religious director of Masjid An-Nur Al-Isslaah (English: "Mosque for Enlightenment and Reformation" or "Light of Reform Mosque" , an LGBT-welcoming mosque.[17] He is on the Advisory Board of Muslims for Progressive Values.[10] He also holds a position in Oslo, Norway at Skeiv Verden ("Gay World" .[10][15]

(50,453 posts)Progressive Muslims Launch Gay-Friendly, Women-Led Mosques In Attempt To Reform American Islam
03/29/2012 12:05 pm ET | Updated Jan 30, 2013
At first, the devout Muslims who gathered in a Washington, D.C., conference center seemed like they could have come from any mosque. There were women in headscarves and bearded men who quoted the Quran.
But something was different. While mingling over hors doeuvres, they discussed how to change Islams future. A woman spoke about fighting terrorism; she had married outside the Islamic faith, which is forbidden for a Muslim woman. A Pakistani man mentioned his plans to meet friends for drinks, despite the faiths ban on alcohol.
In a corner of the room, an imam in a long gray tunic counseled a young Muslim with a vexing spiritual conflict: being gay and Muslim. The imam, also gay and in a relationship, could easily sympathize with the youths difficulties.
On this brisk Monday night in late October, members of Muslims for Progressive Values, a nascent American reformist organization, had gathered from around the country to celebrate a milestone: In four years, the group had grown from a few friends to a thousand members and spawned a string of small mosques and spiritual groups that stretched from Atlanta to Los Angeles.

(50,453 posts)when it comes to controversial issues like politics, religion, guns, etc, it isn't worth anything as a source, imo.
As to finding "location, address, name", well, I guess the article I posted is like wiki, worthless, so I will let you carry on with your question.

If you think radical Islam had nothing to do with this, well, goodie for you.I'm a gay woman. Fuck these religions who call for the death penalty of those with a different sexual orientation or who consider women second class.
You keep trying, darling; why don't you add up the acts of violence by each religion? In this century.

We could also get into why that particular group of folks got handled with kid gloves, and what might have happened differently had it been a group of folks with a little extra melanin in their skin, but I don't think any of us really wants to dive down that rabbithole, right?

(51,308 posts)Good luck.
I don't claim any religion. However, I despise a religion which calls for the death penalty for gay people.
I'm a gay woman, and I also despise a religion which makes women second class citizens.

(757 posts)But Muslim baiting is exactly what Trump and his ilk are up to right now. Pitting one vulnerable minority against another is fucking disgusting and it behooves us to behave better than that.

(53,987 posts)But people do love to conflate it with Muslims. One is the people, Muslims, the other is a philosophy, thought, Islam. People are scared to call out the philosophy because so many will accuse them of attacking the adherents. Unlike other attacks by Muslims, I don't think we will see any backlash (after all, only GLBT people were murdered, and we don't count) against Muslims as a whole, except for the nonsense rhetoric spewed by the right, who will use anything to attack Muslims.

(30,151 posts)A lot of churches in the black communities rail against the LGBT community-
All I'm asking is if you want to worship some mythical creature at least come into the 21st century. So, you find a accepting mosque yet?

(30,151 posts)Gay-friendly Parishes and Faith Communities
Below is a partial list of known "gay-friendly" Catholic parishes and faith communities. Thank you for helping us add to this growing list! If you are aware of such a parish that is known as welcoming to lesbian and gay Catholics as members and active parishioners, please let us know. Tell us if this welcome is because of a support program, spirituality group, mission statement, participation in gay community events, involvement with parents or simply the friendliness of pastoral staff.

(757 posts)On top of how it's simply bad and plays into Trumps tiny tiny hands, there's another problem:
The folks who fall for it are not the brightest, and often anti-Muslim violence ends up directed at folks who aren't even Muslim and just happen to have the wrong skin color.
