the rumored $110 million they spent in bribes just to get the bid, and refund their stadium construction costs... And neither of those things are happening...

employ extremely different standards of behavior with respect to women, LBGTQ community, and, in some places, children, particularly 12 year old boys.
I have no idea about how we bridge the gap between Western values and these retrograde areas of Islam so that we can live and work together.
It seems that there has been good progress made in this country and in some others, but it seems to be slow and difficult going elsewhere.
