Are there any progressive intellectuals who defend gun rights to any degree, or do they all think the 2nd Amendment is obsolete?

1. There are folks right here steeped in guns that consider themselves progressive on gunz. Not sure

2. Not sure if I'm an intellectual, but I do consider the primary purposes of the 2nd to be obsolete.

It is however, still part of the constitution, and so still a valid restriction.
