I wondered how Russia Today would frame this story. Turns out, they are not covering it at all.

I don't see how this helps Trump or hurts the democratic nominee. Granted it does put Trump on the map as a person interest in Russia. No need to compete for that place, I think.

5. Logic:

1. DNC hacked, opposition research taken
2. Trump is an international thug. Like Mussolini and others he would collude with foreign governments, giving whatever promises he could to whatever government which could get him into the presidency.
3. Trump would love to know what DNC has on him so that he has time to bride and/or intimidate anyone who was planning to reveal Trumps past activities.

So the situation is there. The intent is there. The desire is there. And the man is brutal and willing.

That's as far as logic goes at this time.
