In a case like this, do they just send the allegedly abusive parent back home to live with the children?

The story also mentions that the 19 year old at first confirmed her sister's story to the investigator, but changed it when her parents were there; and then changed it back to the original version (confirming the abuse) when she was separated from her parents.

Around 1 a.m. Friday, his 15-year-old daughter called 911. She told a Fayette County sheriff's deputy that she and her father argued when he said she couldn't go to a party Saturday night, according to the report.

She went into the kitchen with her older sister. When her father asked why she was crying, she told him, "I do not want to talk right now," the report said.

Her father charged at her, put his hands around her throat, began to punch her and started hitting her with his shoe, she told the deputy. The deputy noted a scratch on her neck.

Dollar told the deputy he wouldn't let his daughter go to the party because of poor grades.

The deputy also interviewed Dollar's 19-year-old daughter, who said her father grabbed the younger girl's shoulders and slapped her in the face and choked her for about five seconds. She said her sister tried to break free, but did not fight back. When her father threw the 15-year-old on the floor, the older girl ran to get her mother.

Atlanta (CNN) -- The arrest of Georgia megachurch pastor Creflo Dollar brought renewed attention to his message of the Prosperity Gospel, controversial to some and faith-fulfilling to its followers.

Dollar, who was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting his teenage daughter, is the founder and pastor of World Changers Church International in suburban Atlanta.

It claims about 30,000 members and has a multimillion-dollar sanctuary that resembles a golden-domed spaceship atop a hill.

Dollar said in a statement he would never harm his children and that the facts in the case would be handled privately.

often erupt over seemingly trivial things. According to reports, he asked her why she was crying and when she said she didn't want to talk about it (probably knowing that he'd just get mad), he erupted.

This creep has 30,000 followers. Unfortunately, people with personality disorders can also be very charming, when they choose to be, especially with outsiders.

11. i believe he did abuse the girl , watching him blaming the devil, saying the markings

on his daughter were eczema or some other skin condition makes me sick.

lets say he really was innocent. what kind of a parent would go out in public like that and talk like that ? wouldn't you keep it private for a while or at least help your daughter get help.
