(16,974 posts)If most of the Republicans voted for their own amendment, they needed less than 10 Democrats out of over 40 to help it get to 60 for at least some kind of background check action.

(16,974 posts)To keep those bad people from getting guns, yes. I did like the part about the FBI notification if a person was on a list in the last 5 years, reasonable in my opinion. I guess you think nothing is better, right?
