If There Was Any Sanity Left In This Country

If there was any sanity left in this country the election should be over right now. And the GOP should be 20 points down across the board. When you hear someone like Christie say that laying off first responders and teachers is pointing the country in the right direction and Romney essentially agrees with him it should be game over. When Scott Walker says his scorched earth policy is the right direction and has been validated the election should be over no matter how much money the GOP has with the super pacs. And when they say that they will also end Medicare, Medicaid and abolish Obamacare with no replacement that stance should seal it. Obama 50 states.

The fact that it won't and Romney could win just shows how demented of a nation we have become. Even a psychopath understands self preservation at some level. Apparently GOP voters are worse off than a psychopath because they are willing to take themselves and everyone else down based on a pack of lies and delusions that Robbed Me and the GOP are telling.

If television shows sociopathic behavior being rewarded,it conditions the populace to act in that manner.Liberals are the only force to fight this creepy manifestation and Liberals have been demonized for years.

They completely forget who destroy the economy in the first place.
You may call it insanity.

Which President signed the NAFTA and GATT "free trade" treaties? Which President signed the Financial Services Modernization Act (aka Gramm-Leach-Bliley) which repealed the New Deal's Glass-Steagall Act, pulling down the firewalls Glass-Steagall erected between high risk investment banking, commerical banking and insurance?
Then when the predicted meltdown of all banking occurred, which President shielded the criminal banking class from prosecution and made sure they received bailouts at public expense?

It's far from clear that only one party destroyed the prosperity of the United States.

is that most of the people I run across are actually quite sane and reasonable. I'm not saying there aren't exceptions, of course, but truly -- most people seem sane and rational. That's what makes their voting habits even more difficult to understand.
