The leave camp validly won the majority of votes in the memorandum. It would be undemocratic for them to just have do-overs until those in power get the result that they want. To disregard the majority of the citizens of the UK would be even worse than the leaving itself.

That said,there has been quite a few do over memorandums in the EU in the last few decades... So, it could happen.

...until people voted "correctly" the last time they tried to reform the EU. A re-vote would just reinforce all the preconceived notions of the Euroskeptics.

You are correct. I believe the Lisbon treaty took a few tries in Ireland and France (or Portugal I don't remember which) before they passed it after a few non passing votes.
