Temeluca: Mitt Romney spotted at 99 Cents Only store

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney was spotted at the 99 Cents Only store in Temecula on Friday by a Temecula teacher, Chris Radcliffe, who snapped a picture with the 2012 GOP presidential candidate.

Radcliffe, who shared his "brush with greatness" via Facebook messenger, said he didn't have much time to chat.

"I could barely stop him. He was going too fast through the store. I shook his hand and apologized for bothering him," he said.

Although shopping at a 99 Cents Only store wouldn't be out of character for Romney -- according to a 2011 New York Times profile he is obsessed with scoring cheap flights on the discount airline JetBlue -- Radcliffe wasn't sure if he bought anything.
