After the vote for Brexit prevailed, a series of European Union countries expressed their true feelings about the Union. As the ghost of the Far-Right is taking over the continent after EU's complete failure to handle the refugee issue efficiently, several countries threaten the rotten EU structure with an exits epidemic.
The German capital is trying to shape its own pole in the European continent, creating an autonomous bloc. The German technocrats don't know how to do it except go by the book of the mainstream neoliberal economics of destruction, made in IMF. They are characterized by zero flexibility and all they care about is to start another Treuhand operation in European level for the benefit of the German oligarchy. Despite that they destroyed the Greek economy, they didn't hesitate to force the second eurozone economy, France, proceed in anti-labor measures, using the European institutions. They will not hesitate to impose the sado-monetarism recipe even inside Germany.
The problem is that until the whole thing clear up, the exits epidemic may break the EU into pieces with the nightmare of Far-Right hanging above the continent. Recall that the Czech president proposed referendum not only on EU, but also on NATO membership. Therefore, the US empire must be really furious about the stubborn German inflexibility right now. How things could evolve further from this chaos, it would be better not to think about it ...

(6,419 posts)you realize you're being counterproductive to your own cause, don't you?
In fact you're a lot like provocateurs who intentionally post stuff in order to make their own "side" look bad. Well if that's your game, good job.

Here's another cute snippet from that blog:
It's not hard at all to find them sourcing BS from Russia Today and Sputnik News, whacked conspiracy theories blaming everything bad in Russia on the west, and this priceless gem from a white nationalist asshat:
by Paul Craig Roberts
And that's the blog you're defending and claiming "has fuckall to do with Putin".

(1,339 posts)I get it, you love the US/UK/NATO war machine to project murderous power that destroys millions of lives (mostly PoC and especially women and children either directly or indirectly) in the bullshit name of "humanitarian intervention." In reality it is all about the petro-dollar nexus , consolidation of power for the global central banking and private banking system, and profiteering from the buildup, the execution, and the rebuild from war theatres and their chaos.
If Russia was encircling and provoking the USA like NATO et al. is doing to them, we would be truly on the brink on nuclear war. Putin has atrocious social domestic policies, I get that. On the geo-political and military front he is one of the few adults on the global stage. We should all be grateful for that.

(6,419 posts)I just wanted to save what you posted for later when I need a laugh.
It seems my proving my point has cause you to explode. How else am I a "pro empiric war pusher"? Don't forget to attack all the other imaginary demons encircling and provoking you like NATO is "encircling and provoking" Russia.
Seriously, seek help.

(10,175 posts)if you aren't embarrassed to just keep posting "see post 21" over and over, you need some adult supervision.
Otherwise, put up, and give examples of "pro war, neocon-derived propaganda" I've "constantly" posted.
Meanwhile, you're the one who is pro-fascism, as you've plainly said you hope Putin succeeds in helping far-right and neo-Nazi parties take over in Europe. Nuff sed, really. You should be ashamed, but Internet.

(24,692 posts)The far-right (and its supporters in Moscow) have viewed the EU as the enemy for a long time and hoped to bring about its downfall. They are making progress in that regard.
I doubt many liberals are happy to see the far-right get stronger anywhere.

(16,423 posts)1. Greece lied to join the Euro.
2. Greece racked up massive debt by spending money it didn't have and doling out tax-cuts it couldn't afford.
3. Greece sent falsified financial documents to the ECB.
4. When Greece could no longer hide its debt and collapsed, Greece honestly expected that people it had lied to for 9 years would all of a sudden believe what Greece was telling them.
"Yeah... My credit-cards are maxed, I'm broke and all that money you gave me over the years is gone. Also, I lied on several banking- and tax-statements. And for the last 9 years I lied to you whenever you asked me how I'm doing. But that is the past. I will change. If you bail me out right here and right now, I will be responsible with money from now on, I won't lie to you ever again and I will stop forging documents. Promise. But first you have to make my debts disappear."
Schäuble wanted a big, comprehensive deal that covered everything and would have taken all factors into account at once.
Varoufakis wanted small quick&dirty solutions that could be implemented right now. That could maybe have saved the greek economy, but what would ensure that Greece would change its ways after its problems had been dealt with?
And can we please stop with the complaints how Greece's treatment from the EU was undemocratic?
For decades, the greek voters voted for corruption, bribery, embezzlement and tax-evasion. For decades.
And they knew perfectly well what they were voting for: the greek corruption was LEGENDARY and it was everywhwere in everyday-life.
The greek voters WANTED corruption, bribery, embezzlement and tax-evasion because they profited of it.
And when their economy hit rock-bottom, the greek voters were all of a sudden no longer fans of corruption, bribery, embezzlement and tax-evasion.
Where was their outrage in the decades before?????????

(16,423 posts)He's bringing up Hungary as an example?
Hungary?
Hungary that has seen a move towards racism and fascism for years now?
Hungary that is doing its darn best to make life as horrible as possible for gypsies?
And then the author tries to pass off Hungary as an average country upset with the EU?
The current political climate of Hungary is dominated by racist nationalists!!! Of course they are upset about immigrants coming to Europe!!!
And if a nationalist and fascist government like Orban's lambasts the EU for "not protecting european values", what kinds of values is he talking about?
And what does it say about the EU that a fascist nationalist is angry with it?
But then, getting too much into facts would have ruined the story the author wanted to write.
that ignorant BS is causing real harm in the world

(11,481 posts)the breakup of the EU. It gets rid of one more potential threat to the US capitalist hegemony. And the US bourgeoisie (most of them anyway) doesn't have a problem with the far-right when it's the main counter to a socialist resurgence in Europe or elsewhere.
