2. Kaine (safest), J. Castro, or Booker (long-shot).

Don't see her picking Warren, although I'd love to see the polling on a two-woman ticket!

Trump - Gingrich, because that's as close as he can come to someone he perceives as having "gravitas" who's also crazy (and power-hungry) enough to allow himself to be associated with such a flagrant con-man.

4. Trump doesn't go with a GOP establishment pick.

He goes for someone nutty like Palin. Or Palin herself. Because he knows that will get him the headlines.

Becerra over Castro because she can't be running a campaign based on experience and presidential readiness and then nominate a lightweight like Castro.

The interesting thing, though, is that I heard again this eeekend (from people who would know) that she'd prefer an outside-the-beltway type who's a generation younger than her. It says everything about how pathetic DNC strategy is that there's really no one plausible on the bench who fits that bill.
