Did Alton Sterling's family hire Benjamin Crump the lawyer?

I just saw that upsetting statement by Sterling's wife, and it looked as if Crump was in the background.

I'm sure he does his best representing these families, and he seems like a nice guy, but he has a long track record of coming out on the losing side of his cases.

Mr. Crump is not a prosecutor so im not sure how he has been "coming out on the losing side of these cases". In many of these cases, civil judgements have been paid out. If he has been the civil attorney of record, his performance has been the exact opposite of your claim
