Now the focus will be on police being shot and all will be forgotten about how we got to this point.
I grieve for all. Police and citizens. There is no surprise here, give every one a gun, let racism go unpunished, and continue down the road of income equality and here we are.
There must be an end to this insanity. Is it too late?

2. I just don't know. I can only despair at this point as the body count has risen.

Things may escalate horribly, quickly. Or people may take a step back from violence. I don't know. I think it will be a turning point. But a turning point to where, I don't know. But I do know this: violence begets fear. And fear makes people irrational, and irrational, fearful people don't ever let go of their prejudices. Whoever did this made things worse, and I damn them for it.
