Are they still making predictions? If they were decent people, they would be ashamed.

(118,682 posts)election they would not have lack of common sense gun control used as a wedge against them since about 90% of Americans want it. They could claim it was in the pipeline. Later Ryan came out and said they would allow a vote on it. The GOP are running scared as they should be. Gun laws are an abomination as they stand now. And there was a civilian who was open carrying an ar 15 type weapon at the protest. He turned his gun over to the police in Dallas asap after the shooting started because he did not want to be mistaken for one of the Dallas terrorists. He was then identified as a person of interest and his photo put up on the Web and news outlets. Wasting the police time and intelligence. He turned himself in. That is probably the best outcome there could be for an open carry situation and it served to mess things up for a bit.
