His perspective was refreshingly accurate, especially his quote from Macbeth which essentially described the Republican agenda in its entirety......it is "full of sound and fury, signifying NOTHING!"
He emphasized the need for objectivity and pointed out the obvious presence of hypocrisy. The overview of experience (of both of these men) was impressive.
I had to smile when Rep. Lieu said, "Let's do a little Math here"......He did such a quick proportional breakdown of the emails that Director Comey sheepishly responded "I think that's right." (and kudos to Ted Lieu's elementary school teachers...he definitely knows his Math!)

(51,129 posts)His responses basically framed lies. He is a partisan working to elect a Republican President. He is just a shrewder lawyer than the yahoo flunky Republicans that run for Congress.

(7,188 posts)Talks about the role of the FBI Director and the importance of not being biased, and then specifically about Comey's credentials and integrity and the bi-partisan support he had upon confirmation.
He then focuses on the % of emails in question - a minute % of the total.
Very thoughtful, clear questions.
