Reproductive rights advocates say Wisconsin legislators should repeal a state law blocked by the U.S. Supreme Court that would have restricted access to abortions.

.................Gov. Scott Walker signed Wisconsin's admitting privileges bill into law on July 5, 2013, just one month after it was introduced. It was ruled unconstitutional by a federal appeals court in November 2015.

Also contained in the law was a provision that requires women to undergo ultrasound exams before getting abortions. That portion of the law was not challenged and remains in effect.


Supporters of such laws say they're designed to protect women's health by setting stringent medical standards. But opponents say the changes aren't medically necessary and are designed to limit access to abortions.

Dr. Kathy Hartke, chairwoman of the Wisconsin section of American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, said such laws have "no basis in medicine" and represent "unwarranted and dangerous political influence" in the doctor-patient relationship...................

They use their laws to intimidate women, haven't the guts to admit it. They just carry a big gun and whip women with insane laws to show how macho they are. Wimps everyone of them.
