What should I love? The constant ruining of lives over marijuana offenses? The enforcement of unconstitutional laws? Revenue collection via petty traffic stops? Asset forfeiture where citizens are robbed of their property without due process? Power tripping cops who shove your face into the dirt? Racially discriminatory policing where minorities are unjustly targeted? The constant shootings of unarmed citizens? It's not that I want anarchy, but we need to do SOMETHING about our out of control law enforcement.

The police have unions and lobby to get laws favorable to them. Cannabis legalization laws are frequently opposed by prison guard unions/LE groups and such. That's just one example. The police also have their own personal discretion. They're not mindless robots. If they see a guy commit some petty crime like rolling a 4-way-stop with nobody around, they don't NEED to go give the poor guy a ticket and ruin his day. They do it anyway though, because they want the revenue. They don't NEED to interrogate black people just for driving down the street, or ruin some kids record because he had a little sack of weed.

The whole "Just doing our jobs" argument has NEVER been an excuse. The enforcers of tyranny are no better than tyrants themselves.

I'm just saying the blame is also warranted at the people that make those laws also if not equally. Many many problems stem back to the war on drugs and feeding an industrial prison complex.

Clearly there is so little trust, that carrying seems to be necessary, and the smarter thing - "just in case".'
