(7,261 posts)Her friend's husband, a cop, told her not to go to work this week. Said he was taking his wife and kids out of town so he doesn't have to worry about them while he's fighting in the trenches.
I told her to use her own judgment but it sounds like he's either a major drama king or has been whipped into a froth by his superiors and/or current events. Nervous cops are people I like to avoid either way.

Anyway, a group of well-armed, uniformed Mexican revolutionaries are sitting for their portrait before an old-fashioned flash-powder camera.
The photographer ignites the flash powder with a "FLOOSH!", startling all of the gunmen.
The final frame shows the dead photographer, riddled with holes, while the revolutionaries holster their guns with satisfaction, some blowing the smoke from the end of the barrel, etc.
First thing I thought of when I read the OP.
