because it dismisses those who ran before her. But I don't think they were intentional slights.

(17,135 posts)3. I voted for LaDonna Harris- She ran as Barry Commoner's VP mate in 1980.
They ran on the Citizens Party ticket. Barry Commoner was a visionary scientist, ecologist, and activist. Harris was a Native American politician and activist from Oklahoma.
