Cat wars: Downing Street upheaval has sparked Larry and Palmerston conflict, say experts

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2016/08/02/cat-wars-downing-street-upheaval-has-sparked-larry-and-palmersto/

The recent upheaval in Downing Street has led to the increasing violence between government mousers Larry and Palmerston, experts have claimed.

Fur has been flying between the two cats since Palmerston moved into the foreign office in April but since David Cameron's resignation the animosity has reached unprecedented levels.

Yesterday Larry and Palmerston were spotted having their most brutal fight to date and earlier this week Larry was seen with a chunk of fur missing and has needed veterinary for an injury to his paw. At one point, armed police were forced to break them up.

Animal behaviour experts at the British Veterinary Association (BVA) said that the cats would be feeling unsettled after the departure of David Cameron and George Osborne and would be fighting for territory and attention from the new Downing Street inhabitants.

I would recommend they douse the place with Feliway - a UK product BTW, and get a cat behaviorist in there right away. This looks like a job for Jackson Galaxy!! He will set it straight.
