Police: Virginia wedding caterer killed in fight over chairs

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/virginia-wedding-caterer-killed-in-fight-over-chairs/

CHANTILLY, Va. -- Police in Virginia say a 35-year-old woman was murdered Saturday after catering a wedding at a Virginia park, reports CBS affiliate WTVR.

Tyonne "Chef Ty" Johns, 35, of Hopewell, Virginia, was stabbed while cleaning up after the wedding around 10:50 p.m at Fairfax County's Ellanor C. Lawrence Park, following an argument about chairs, according to police.

Kempton Bonds, a 19-year-old seasonal county park worker, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder.

"As the event came to an end, the verbal altercation continued, and the suspect, the Park Authority employee, apparently stabbed the victim with a knife," a Fairfax County Police spokesperson said.

that the 19 year old was trying to disrupt the wedding, and the cops had been called on him before this incident. Don't know the couple being married, but a lesbian couple who knew the victim and was at the wedding think it was a hate crime. The couple were friends with the victim.

not the other way around. He was causing problems for the wedding throughout the event.

I've seen nor heard anything that indicates this was a hate crime.

I live in the local area, and I haven't heard any of the local news stories that are labeling it as a hate crime.
