There can't possibly be any doubt that Trump suggested killing Hillary Clinton

It REALLY is that simple.

The heart of what he said is VERY clear:

nothing you can do, folks ... although the Second Amendment, people, maybe there is.

Trump's campaign is saying he meant the 2A voters are a strong coalition.

Bullshit.

This is serious. His supporters, the ones who cheer for him no matter what he says, include a lot of gun humpers. Without ANY doubt, there are among them some unstable nut jobs who would truly consider assassinating Hillary Clinton.

There is no way this can be spun . . . . . unless the media spins it.

Still endorsing him, Ryan? Still voting for him? How about you, McConnell? And Pence, how low can you go? How does it feel to have sold your soul?

The first sentence says Hillary has been elected, because she has already chosen the judges. The second sentence says that maybe the Second Amendment /right to bear arms people can do something about it, referring back to the first sentence.

He's raising the alarm about her appointing SC judges, then saying " there's nothing you can do" -- oh, wait, " there is": a Second Amendment solution, which would keep her from getting to appoint any judges. Not very subtle, though he will deny that he meant any such thing.

Trump can't be talking about voting (his first stupid excuse) because in his scenario, Hillary has already been elected.

The member you're attacking has been on DU for over six years. Some people prefer to read rather than post. That is no reason to attack them or be suspicious of them.

On the other hand, there are many members with thousands of posts who post despicable things every day, viciously attacking Hillary supporters, African Americans, feminists, vegans, or anyone who happens to post something they can find a way to attack.

Reread the post. Especially the first sentence. This is not a Trump apologist. Frankly, I think you should edit or delete your post, since all it does is add to the nastiness that is all too prevalent on DU.

(though it was already pretty much dead, he's put it out of it's misery .. but not us out of our misery with his campaign yet.)

On the other hand, although I'm light years away from being her biggest supporter, I worried that Obama would never finish his term. So Trump doing stuff like this can incite a nut to shoot her. And that is not something I'd wish on any candidate. I'm sure her secret service folks have enough on their plates as it is.

No matter how the matter is parsed, Trump's comments are clearly calling the single-issue 2nd amendment gun owners to bring their armed power threats into the fray.

He is saying that within the Trump tribe trying to stop Madame President, the only political power with enough clout is in the not yet cold dead hands of the armed segment of their big-pup-tent tribe.

Like when he alluded to Obama being in league with the terrorists. Diagramming the sentence isn't necessary, 2nd amendment solution = guns. Period. "Not what I said", or "Not what I meant" should not be allowed to suffice this time.

than a bunch of crack whores. At least if a pimp beats too many people up, his "ladies" can use a second amendment remedy like a "Saturday night special" and deal with him, but the very people Trump is using like an ashtray will not only be the first to kiss his ring, they will be the ones to implement his policies and try to steer him even harder to the right.

and for those that do nto get that reference, here is some rabid anti gun propaganda by a bunch of long haired types that have NO appreciation for rural values or the stars and bars (Heavy sarcasm)

Best gun control anthem there is.
