Officers were *supposed* to be a little more in-line with the official government positions, but they did manage to get some stuff out from time to time showing tat not all were in favor of what we were doing over there.
I remember the first time I heard this. From then on, whenever someone said some really stupid shit, the next words out of someone's mouth were usually, "What the Captain means is..."
