4. beat you! but, as you must be watching this, they didn't spend any time on that, compared

to whatever tangents they went off on. they spent MORE time with the Cheryl Mills pay to play than the 12 million in Russia. they did little to hold CL's feet to the fire, not trying at all to get him to explain why on earth he tweeted that story; only thing they said about it, really was to ask him why he put it out with no comment, which made it seem as if he was out to get the guy that got him fired (they didn't mention the firing....that was me)

a man in his position would tweet that, especially when the tweeters on his feed WHINED about how much more coverage it got once he tweeted about that.

they went way too easy on him, and I understand why

it doesn't take much to make CL look like the venal fool he is. maybe he IS the Hillary plant the wingnut tweeters are accusing him of being.

that said, unlike Don Lemon, and a few other CNNers, they failed to mention at the beginning of the segment that he is STILL being PAID by Trump. I love it when they do that.

so far they AREN'T. perhaps they might begin to, but.....

so far, they've mentioned it, without almost ZERO detail. compare this to the myriad HOURS spent on the emails, Benghazi, and the bogus pay to play Clinton foundation non-smoking gun stories. they've also spent more time today, at this point, on Rajiv K. Fernando’s appointment to the ISAB.

things should change, if there's any sort of corroboration on this story, which people here poo pooed when Josh Marshall covered it, IIRC
