Trump inherited a very divided Party.

He had to defeat 15 other Republicans in the primaries and he created many enemies along the way. In the end, he finished with about 35% of the total Republican vote. The majority of Republican voters did not support him. He made no effort to unite his Party. To the contrary, his first speech, after being nominated, was to attack Ted Cruz.

A recent poll showed him to have about 80% support amongst Republicans. That may, or may not be, a solid number? The only thing keeping him that high in support by Republicans is the "R" by his name. It is nothing more than Party loyalty. He has done little to earn their respect or their support since their convention.

Jeb Bush supporters are not rushing to be on the Trump band wagon. Neither are Marco Rubio supporters. And certainly not Ted Cruz supporters. Donald Trump has a very fragile coalition within the Republican Party but he acts as if they all love him. They don't.

He has done his very best to piss off everyone he needs to run a competitive race. It's almost as if he doesn't really want to win. He is only laying the foundation for a new business venture. Someone suggested that he wants to start his own television network. That may be the case?

Even my tea bagging sister isn't voting for him.

I think I convinced her to vote for Hillary by telling her to take her ten year old daughter with her to fill in the circle for Hillary so my niece could tell her grandchildren that she voted for the first woman president.

Everyone else has left the party, and the party hosts have taken the punch bowl out.
